We set up the records email providers check (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) for every domain, so your emails start with a good reputation. If some still land in spam, these are the usual reasons.
If your emails land in other people's spam
- Ask the person to mark your email as Not spam and add you to their contacts. Their email provider learns from this.
- Send from your own mailbox (webmail, Outlook or your phone), not from Gmail or Outlook.com set to "send as" your business address.
- Avoid writing a whole subject in capitals, a lot of exclamation marks, or an email that is only a link or only an attachment.
- Brand new domains build trust slowly. Send normal emails to people who expect them, and it improves within a few weeks.
- Do not send newsletters or bulk email from your mailbox. Business email has a limit of 200 emails an hour. Use Mailchimp or Brevo for newsletters, and we set up your domain so it sends correctly.
If spam reaches your inbox
Mark it as spam (or junk) in webmail or your email app. Do not reply to it or click its links.
If an email bounces
Forward the bounce message (the email that says it could not be delivered) to us, and we will find out why.
