Here is what happens from the moment you order WordPress Complete until your website is live.
- You pay the first invoice. By card or crypto. Your hosting account is created automatically as soon as the payment clears.
- You get a welcome email. It explains the next steps. Keep it somewhere safe.
- Your domain. On the yearly plan we register your free domain. If you already own a domain, we email you two nameservers to set at your domain company (see Using a domain you already own).
- Your website goes live. We move your website from its demo link onto your domain and switch on its free SSL certificate. This usually takes about a day. We email you when it is live.
- Your email. Tell us which address you want first, for example [email protected], and we create it for you.
- You get your logins. When your website is live, we email you everything in one place: your email address and password, the webmail address, and the settings for your phone and computer. WordPress also emails you a link to set your own WordPress password.
If we have not built your website yet, we will contact you for your business details. Your demo site is usually ready in about four working days, and you get two rounds of changes before it goes live.
After launch
- Up to 3 change requests a month are included (see How to request a change).
- We keep WordPress, your theme and your plugins updated, including the premium plugins we add, back up your site every day and monitor it 24/7.
- Moving an existing website or email from another host is free.
